Winnifred Lee
Excerpts from the Newfoundland Posts and Telegraphs Daily News Journals of
June 19, 1928 reported that the Schooner "Winnifred Lee", owned by George A. Buffett, Grand Bank, arrived at St. Mary's reporting the loss of two men on the 14th, Bernard Lee and my Gt. Uncle John Moore, both of Grand Bank. It is supposed that their dory was upset while hauling trawls.
